I am just returning from a wonderful 12-day trip to Denmark for a wedding and then a week in Norway. It was a fabulous vacation shared with family and friends. Although we all did our best to disconnect from ‘real life’ - including our technological tethers - tech played an important role in for planning and during our travels. 

Whether you have an iPhone (Apple) or Android (pretty much everything else), you can add emergency contact info to your phone that can be accessed by a First Responder or even a Good Samaritan who knows how to find it. Importantly, First Responders know how to access this info even if you are unable to open your phone for them.
